Set in Da Nang, Memory in the Mist follows Hoà, a young ice delivery man wandering the city on his makeshift motorbike. Abandoned by his mother, he shares a quiet bond with Hùng Què, a one-legged war veteran who can locate the remains of fallen soldiers. Together, they navigate memories and loss in a city shaped by its pasta.
